EXPERIENCE:
- Mr. Battenfeld has comprehensive experience in engineering project management, analysis, design, inspection, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems for institutional, commercial, and public buildings of all types and sizes. Mr. Battenfeld is an acknowledged expert in the field of mechanical/HVAC systems design for Data Centers and has had the opportunity to speak at the Fall 2006 7x24 Conference in Scottsdale, AZ (www.7x24exchange.org). The presentation described an innovative blade server cooling solution that he designed with IBM, BellSouth & Georgia Tech.
- He has experience in cooling solutions for typical and high density data equipment, plus extensive work in improving the performance of existing data centers as they expand beyond their original design capacity.
- Mr. Battenfeld previously was a power and space-planning engineer and central office engineer for domestic and international telecommunication companies. His responsibilities included project management for DC power plant and DC power equipment acquisition and installation. He has also supervised the central office engineering groups, as well as conducted site audits, created standards, developed new network sites, designed equipment layouts and numerous other tasks.
- Mr. Battenfeld’s background has added technical depth to Minick Engineering where he also designs HVAC systems for hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, financial institutions, hotels, restaurants, retirement facilities, and schools.

EXPERIENCE:
Christopher Esslinger has eight years experience in the design of electrical and lighting systems. He has designed specialty lighting systems for numerous performing arts centers, churches and schools. He is familiar with LEED design criteria for green buildings. Mr. Esslinger has considerable experience in the roles of project engineer and supervising engineer. He is also experienced with value engineering design to meet construction cost budgets and with in field inspection and liaison work. He is accustomed to working with all of the parties in the design and construction process.
Mr. Esslinger has performed the following system designs for various facilities: power, lighting, telecommunications, fire alarm, intrusion detection, closed circuit television, television distribution, specialty sound, and theater dimming. He specializes in complex project management with aggressive schedule requirements. He has industrial, commercial, educational, and medical design experience. He has also designed cabling systems for educational facilities.
Other areas of Mr.Esslinger’s expertise include construction administration, energy studies, project implementation, and performance contracting.

Debra Segal has been a Principal/Owner for over 21 years. She is responsible for project management, client relationship management, and financial management. She supervises the engineering design department and directs the mechanical and electrical engineering. Her general responsibilities include:
- Oversees all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, and tax and audit functions.
- Directs financial strategy, planning, and forecasts.
- Responsible for investment and the raising of funds for business.
- Studies, analyzes, and reports on trends, opportunities for expansion, and projection of future company growth.
